I am currently attending Missouri Western State University here in St. Joseph. I'm getting my degree in elementary education and am currently a Junior. My GPA is approximately 3.8.
Experience
I was a reading tutor for a first grader my Senior year of high school. My ACT score was a 26. I love helping people learn! I've completed all my general education courses and am currently working on my elementary methods courses. I took two mission trips to Wonderland Camp, a camp in South Missouri for mentally and physically disabled adults and children, while I was in high school as well as a mission trip to Mexico where I helped build an orphanage. I was a yearbook editor my Junior and Senior years of high school, as well as serving on Missouri Western's yearbook my Freshman year of college. I am also currently in charge of the children's ministry at my church as well as helping my husband with our youth group (he is the youth pastor for our church). I was also a notetaker for a student with a learning disability during my Freshman year of college.
